I picked up a SOG knife recently and it’s been perfectly decent so far. It feels solid in the hand and handles the usual stuff fine, like opening boxes and cutting cord out in the garage. I was messing with it while making coffee the other morning and it definitely seems well put together, but for the price I guess I was expecting a bit more. Shipping was alright, nothing crazy fast but no issues either. Overall, not a bad knife at all, I’m just not totally convinced it’s a better value than a few other brands I’ve tried.

I’m not totally sure how to feel about it, but the build does seem a bit flimsy to me. For the price, I guess I expected it to feel a little more solid.

The blade gets stuck about halfway open, which is really fun if you were hoping for a smooth, effortless flip. Definitely not annoying at all. I expected it to open cleanly, but instead it feels rough and clunky every time.

I bought a knife from SOG Knives after a friend recommended the brand, so I was expecting it to be solid. Unfortunately, the blade was dull right out of the box. It struggled just to cut through cardboard, and I ended up having to sharpen it myself before I could really use it. For what I paid, I expected a lot better. Disappointing experience, and I probably wouldn’t buy another one.

I also felt a bit talked down to when I asked about it, which didn’t help the experience. Giving it 3 stars because the knife itself is decent, but the lock reliability and the customer interaction could be better

I’m still a little confused about the whole shipping timeline. My order was supposed to arrive much sooner, then the tracking barely changed for days, and I couldn’t tell if it was delayed, stuck somewhere, or just not updated. I kept checking and never really got a clear answer. In the end, it took way longer than expected, so yeah, not a great delivery experience

I checked out sogknives.com expecting a sharp, clean-looking site that matched the brand, but it felt misleading once I got there. From the outside, I thought it would be easier and nicer to browse.

The pages felt dark, cluttered, and kind of outdated. Some of the product photos looked decent, but the way everything was laid out made it hard to focus on them. It just felt like too many things were competing for attention at once.

For a knife site, I expected something more polished and straightforward. Instead, the whole experience felt messier than I expected, and I ended up leaving quickly because it just wasn’t enjoyable to use

They got back to me quickly and handled the warranty without making the whole thing difficult or annoying. It just felt solid, honestly. Really good customer service and I’m definitely happy with how it all worked out.
